Today felt open, like sky with no deadline, like air that doesn't ask where I'm headed.
The sun didn't demand anything from me. Neither did the wind. They just moved, and invited me to move too.
I walked through the day the way you walk a trail without a map- trusting my body to know when to slow, when to stop, when to keep going.
I felt free in small ways. In the space between thoughts. In the way my shoulders dropped without me noticing. In realizing I don't have to carry everything I once did.
Nature reminded me- nothing rushes to become itself. Birds take off when they're ready. Rivers don't apologizefor their curves. Even the trees let go when it's time.
Today, I let myself breathe like the land breathes- wide, patient, unashamed of taking up space.
I felt untethered in the best way- rooted, but not trapped. Grounded, but not heavy. Free to choose softness. Free to choose joy. Free to just "be."
And maybe that's what healing looks like: not breaking chains loudly, but realizing they loosened a long time ago.
Today passed like a breeze- touching, cleansing, leaving me lighter.
Tomorrow can come whenever it wants. I know how to stand under the sky now.
